ECTE - European Center in Training for Employment
Certified by the Ministry of Education as an educational center (KEDIVIM2) for continuous training (C-VET), ECTE is based in Crete region, Greece.
The areas of activities ECTE is working, on are the planning and implementation of training programs for upskilling and/or re-skilling of labor, to cover the skills gap, according to the market needs, which integrate innovation and the European dimension.
More specifically the spectrum of ECTE activities involves:
Implementation of formal training programs (physical presence).
Offering courses based on e-learning in a ubiquitous (mobile learning) learning environment.
Development of emerging professional profiles and official certification of the emerging qualifications according to ISO 27024 norms.
Development of curricula and training courses, in line with ECVET and EQAVET procedures, adapted to market needs (micro-credential certification pathway).
Elaboration of research related to the skills needs and educational methods.
International activities Hosting learners and staff in Summer schools, as well as placing them in a work-based learning environment
ECTE applies a quality management System, for continuous improvement of training services, according to ISO 9001: 2015, having embraced digitalization in its working processes which includes the Basecamp platform as a management and communication tool, knowledge flow, and files repository system, Mural Digital platform for visual collaboration and a learning management system (LMS) for designing and delivering e-learning courses.
Role in the project
ECTE is actively involved in the implementation of all work packages, especially for the identification of SKILLS NEEDED and development of the Framework of Competences (IFC) for Specialist in CBIT for person-centered care.
Additionally, is responsible for “Empathy mapping” process in its local community, as part of the DESIGN THINKING methodology”, for the development of MICROCREDENTIALS model for EU Curriculum for Specialists in Community-Based Interprofessional Teams (CBIT) in line with the ECTS. Additionally, is responsible for the EQAVET arrangements in training and quality of arrangements for the recognition and validation of qualifications.
